The 2009 Master's Cup is now over; it was a wonderful sailing event, with a good participation of 62 boats of 10 different countries.

We enjoyed a variety of wind and weather conditions under the beautiful Tyrolean Mountains (which we recommend for vacations).

Our thanks go to the race committee with Anton Aichholzer, Andreas Pfurtscheller and Wolfgang Hofmann, who conducted the races professionally. The sporting level was at the height of international 470 races.

Our thanks go also to the international jury for their watching eyes and swift handling of protests.

The 470 International would like to thank the sailing Club Achensee (SC TWV Achensee) for hosting that event and providing a perfect infrastructure and offering a social program for the sailors and their coaching families: Tyrolean entertainment, opera singers and jazz concert. Our thanks to the numerous helpers in the secretary and behind the scenes without whom such an event cannot be organized.

Finally, our thanks to the sponsors, especially Tyrolean Water Power (Tiroler Wasserkraft) and “Achensee Region”, who made this event possible.

The 2009 Master's Cup was an opportunity to make new friends and I hope we will see them again next year at lake Biscarosse in France, probably in the last week of July.

	The 470 Master's Cup 2010 will take place July 25th to 30th at Lake Biscarosse (Latécoère), Landes, in France. preceeded by the Open 470 French Nationals, July 23-24. Camping and plan here (camping does not answer, but there will be oportunity to park mobile homes on the Club's ground after July 23rd.. 	La Coupe 470 Masters 2010 se déroulera du 25 au 30 juillet au Lac de Biscarosse (Latécoère), Landes en France. Auparavant aura lieu le Championnat 470 Open de France, du 23 au 24 juillet. Camping et plan ici. Le camping ne répond pas, mais les campers pouront stationer sur le site du Club après le 23 Julllet.
